For Non English degree holders applying for M A English, admission will be based on an Entrance Test. Minimum marks for qualifying entrance examination - 50% for General Candidates; 45% for OBC/OEC Candidates; 40% for SC/ST Candidates.

Degree in Physics/Applied Physics (Core) of this University or an equivalent degree, with Mathematics as compulsory complementary, having 50% mark or equivalent grade in Part III (Core and Complementary put together) or B.Sc Physics Honours degree with 50% marks or equivalent grade in Physics core and electives put together.
